Monolid Makeup : Tangerine - Orange Vibes Makeup

Hello all, if you have not already caught me on Dayre, I'm going to use make use of this space to back up some of my Dayre posts to reach out to more Monolid people like myself.

Playing with my new hauls from #colourpop. I used flipper today, it's first at love sight. It's a tangerine shade with silver glitter, mine came broken and so did my heart but I managed to salvage the broken and press them back into the pot. I'm so tempted to get a new one because I dislike getting broken goods. But I'll make do with it since it serves me fine. It's a gorgeous colour!

Here's the swatch (not my photo, just grab a random on off the net) I super love such shades, there's no pink to it unlike the rest of Colourpop pressed eyeshadow like cut off, flower boy. It's a true orangey yellow shade. Peach is like coral with pink undertone Apricot is also coral but yellow based. I'm trying to get such shades without having too much pink in them. Now I'm tempted to get I owe you, paper tiger and issues ( all shades or mustard, yellow based corals/orange)

Here's my makeup of the day:

Eyes: #colourpop supershock eyeshadow in Flipper as my base, #zoeva caramel melange palette aftertaste, start soft, liquid centre and edible gem at my outer corner, UD eyeshadow primer, #marcbeauty magic liquid eyeliner, #tarte mascara. Lips: #CP ultra matte liquid lipstick in Mama, #Mac Lady be good. Brows: #meme brow pencil, nature rep brow mascara in light brown Face: #thesaem.official under eye concealer, #makeupforeversg concealer Cheeks: #hourglass Ambience palette, #inglot coral blush .

These are the shades I used from Zoeva caramel melange. I'm sadden that one of the colours liquid centre broke and I'm left with half. I could also make do with it. It's a beautiful copper orange shade. I think I found it nicer and user friendly than the ariatum mono eye shadow that i bought from Korea. They are similar, but zoeva's formula is more blendable and smooth.

This whole week, I've been wearing orangey hue to work. This look is purely from caramel melange with those colours I have X in the picture above. No glitz and shimmer. It's all matte. However, I do find orange complimenting my skin tone and bringing more vibrancy as well. I'm gonna experiment with yellow so that I can have a pair of sunset eyes! I recently bought #3ce retro drive duo blush and I can't wait to create a look with it! I'll continue taking some pictures and share w y'all soon!

So I'm showing casing the attempts I have tried cut crease.

The first time was in jan 2016, I was horrified. But it looks good on photo from afar but far from good. It looks unnatural and dramatic. So I did the second time at the later part of 2016 and I was happy with the look but I find brown a little too boring. And also I think that the red lips didn't look as good on me. But it did give me the illusion of the double eyelid that I wanted with a false lash. Shall I try again?
